Guest Speaker: Khadijah Lamah
Khadijah Lamah is an educator, advocate, and Ms. Juneteenth Minnesota 2024–2025. As a first-generation Liberian American and Virginia State University graduate, she brings her passion for equity, education, and cultural pride to every space. Khadijah serves as the Education Manager at Hospitality House Youth Development, leading youth programs that empower the next generation through academic support, creativity, and leadership development.
With over seven years in education and nonprofit leadership, she addresses systemic inequities, uplifting urban youth and families. Her platform, Planting Today’s Seeds to Grow Tomorrow’s T.R.E.E.S., tackles educational disparities while promoting student voice and agency.
Khadijah’s impact has been recognized in local and statewide media, including the Star Tribune and KARE 11 News. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Khadijah is a bold, compassionate voice for change, rooted in faith, culture, and the belief that investing in youth secures our future.

Hospitality House Youth Development provides a Christian outreach, focused on the spiritual, intellectual and physical development of inner city youth and their families.
