October 2025 “For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 As the colors of fall begin to paint our city, we’re reminded that every new season brings both beauty and change. Our youth experience this daily as they settle back into the rhythm of school, sports, and new responsibilities. Each day calls them to learn, trust, and walk in faith even when the path ahead feels uncertain.For 65 years, Hospitality House Youth Development has walked beside our youth and families through these transitions. Offering guidance, faith, and steadfast support rooted in the love of Christ. We thank God for the opportunity to serve, and we thank you for standing with us as we enter another season of growth and impact. 65 Years of Faith in Action: A Night to Remember This month, we celebrated our Annual Fall Banquet: “65 Years of Faithful Service.” It was a blessing to gather and reflect on God’s goodness through the generations!Our guests were inspired by moving testimonies, a powerful video highlighting our youth’s educational journey to Washington, D.C., and visits to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) this past spring.We were deeply honored to welcome our keynote speaker, Rev. Dr. Ralph E. Galloway, who shared a heartfelt message about

September 2025 “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.”Proverbs 22:6 As we transition from a summer filled with growth, discovery, and joy into a new fall season, we are reminded of God’s promise that the seeds planted in youth will bear lasting fruit. At Hospitality House Youth Development, we see this truth lived out every day, whether through former HHYD participants stepping into leadership roles or young people embracing faith, creativity, and community. This fall, we look forward to building on the strong foundation God is laying in the lives of our youth. Innovation in Action: Youth “Shark Tank” This past summer at Hospitality House Youth Development was nothing short of powerful. From serving over 100 youth during Summer Spot to watching former HHYD youth step into leadership roles, we saw God’s hand at work in every moment. As we move into the fall, we are excited to continue building leaders, nurturing faith, and creating opportunities for our youth to thrive. Here’s what’s been happening and what’s ahead! This summer, our youth tapped into creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork by hosting their very own version of “Shark Tank.” From
