“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12
At Hospitality House Youth Development, we believe in the God-given power and purpose within every young person. Our youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow. They are setting the standard today. Through their words, actions, and character, they reflect faith, love, and integrity.
Join us in celebrating and investing in these rising leaders who are making a difference right here in North Minneapolis!
Faith in Action: Thank You, Praying Pelicans!
We were blessed to host Praying Pelican Missions by way of Cornerstone Church based out of Eldridge, Iowa at HHYD for three days in late June! As a ministry committed to building up the local Church and serving communities for Christ, their team brought energy, heart, and helping hands. From jumping into classroom activities with our youth to tackling service projects like cleaning the playground and organizing storage areas, they truly made an impact. We’re thankful for the time, the teamwork, and the connections made in Jesus’ name!

Summer Fun with Purpose at HHYD!
This summer has been filled with joy, discovery, and connection at Hospitality House Youth Development! From exploring God’s wonders at the Science Museum to sharing laughter and teamwork at Top Golf, our youth are enjoying every moment. These field trips are more than just fun, they’re a chance to build friendships, grow in faith, and experience the love of Christ in action. We’re so grateful for a season that’s not only exciting but deeply meaningful.

Staff Spotlight – Khadijah Lamah

We are so grateful to shine a light on one of the newest, and brightest members of our team, Khadijah Lamah, our Educational Manager here at Hospitality House. In just a short time, Khadijah has made a powerful impact by launching our ULC and Summer Spot programs, blending high-level learning with engaging activities that are not only fun and educational but also safe and spiritually grounded. Her heart for the youth and passion for excellence has brought new energy to our educational programming, and her leadership continues to inspire both staff and students alike.
We are also thrilled to announce that Khadijah will be the keynote speaker at our Women’s Luncheon at the end of the month. Her story, spirit, and commitment to faith and community are sure to encourage and uplift all in attendance. We are so blessed to have her as part of the HHYD family!
